Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

Bump Digital Limited (NZBN 9429051100995) is a digital marketing agency based in Auckland, New Zealand. We take care with personal information and follow the Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you fill in a form, book a session, call or email us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, business name, website and anything you choose to tell us about your business.

If you become a client, we also keep the contact details and records we need to deliver our services and bill for them.

Information collected when you visit our website

We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use our website. It uses cookies and similar technology to collect details such as the pages you visit, how you reached us, your device and browser, and your general location. We use this to improve our website and marketing.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out add-on for Google Analytics. Our website will still work.

Our website host may also keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.

Business contacts from public sources

We sometimes contact businesses we think we could help. To do this, we may collect a person's name, role and work email address from a business website or other public business source, along with public information about that business. We keep a record of this and of any contact we have had.

We use this only to contact the business about our services. Every marketing email tells you how to opt out, and we will stop when you ask. You can also ask where we got your details by contacting us.

Information we handle for our clients

To run campaigns, we may access our clients' advertising, analytics, ecommerce and email platforms. These can include information about our clients' customers. We handle that information on our clients' instructions and only to provide our services.

If you are a customer of one of our clients, that business's privacy policy applies. Please contact them first about your information.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • reply to you and arrange meetings
  • prepare proposals, reports and advice
  • deliver our services and manage client accounts
  • send invoices and keep business records
  • send relevant marketing, which you can opt out of at any time
  • improve our website and services
  • meet our legal obligations

You do not have to give us your information. If you choose not to, we may not be able to reply to you or provide our services.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information.

We use trusted service providers to run our business. They include website hosting and forms (Webflow), analytics and email (Google), booking (Calendly), work records (Notion), SEO research tools (SE Ranking) and AI tools that help us research, analyse and draft our work. They only receive what they need to provide their service.

We may also share information with our professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

Storing information overseas

Some of our providers store information outside New Zealand, including in the United States. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it. We keep enquiry and prospect records for up to 2 years after our last contact, and client and financial records for 7 years. We keep your name on a do-not-contact list if you opt out, so we can respect that choice.

Keeping it secure

We limit access to the people who need it and use secure, password-protected systems. No system is completely secure. If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the Privacy Commissioner and the people affected, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete it or stop contacting you. We will reply within 20 working days. There is normally no charge.
