Toddle

How people find your range on Google and in AI search, and three things you can fix right away.

Prepared by Josh Blackman, Bump Digital. November 2026. Click Next to go through it.

Where you stand

You rank for 240 searches. 34 of your rankings are on page 1.

Under 1% of searchers click anything on page 2 of Google. If you’re not in the top 10 for a search, you’re close to invisible for it.

The bars add up to 311 because more than one of your pages can rank for the same search. Source: SE Ranking, New Zealand, November 2026, which estimates about 87 visits a month from Google. Page 2 figure: Backlinko study of about 4 million Google results, which found 0.63% of searchers clicked on page 2.

What moving up could mean

See what each position is worth

Your positions and search volumes are real data from SE Ranking. The visits are our estimate, based on typical click rates.

0

An estimate, not a guarantee. “Today” uses SE Ranking’s visit estimates. The other buttons use typical click rates: 28% at position 1, 10% at 3, 6% at 5 and 2% at 10. Real results vary, and competitive searches can take 6 to 12 months or longer.

AI search

Shoppers are asking AI too

Google shows an AI Overview for searches like “learning tower” and “toddler tower”. AI answers cite your site 8 times, but none name Toddle as a brand.

AI answers that mention each brand

SE Ranking’s tracked AI answers for New Zealand, November 2026, across Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. Mentions count answers that name the brand.

Here are 3 immediate fixes you can make

You can do all of these without us. Click Next to go through them one at a time.

Fix 1 of 3

Your storage page is close to page 1, but everything on it is sold out

What’s happening

Your Kids Storage page is at position 13 for “childrens shelves”, 19 for “toy chest furniture” and 21 for “soft toy storage nz”. All four products on it are sold out.

Play Furniture is the same, with all four sold out. Across the site, 9 of your 21 products are currently unavailable.

A sold-out page gives a shopper nothing to do but leave, and that’s a sale lost to another store.

The fix

Keep these pages live, because they’ve earned their rankings. Add a “tell me when it’s back” email signup to each sold-out product.

If you know when stock is due, say so at the top of the page, and link to in-stock ranges so shoppers have somewhere to go.

Fix 2 of 3

Eight of your pages show the exact same products

What’s happening

Eight of your pages, including Christmas Gifts for Toddlers, Birthday Gifts and Gift Ideas for Grandkids, all show the same 21 products, and nine of those are sold out.

None of the eight has a search description or intro text, so Google has little reason to rank one over another. “Christmas presents for 2 year olds” has you at position 86.

The fix

Before the Christmas rush, give Christmas Gifts its own in-stock selection and a proper listing. You could use:

Title: Christmas Gifts for Toddlers NZ | Learning Towers & Kids Furniture | Toddle

Description: Find Christmas gifts for toddlers, from learning towers to tables and chairs, with free shipping NZ-wide from Toddle.

Then do the same for the gift pages worth keeping, and redirect the rest.

Fix 3 of 3

Learning towers are your hero product, but have no main page

What’s happening

“Learning tower” gets about 590 searches a month and you’re at position 9, but Google is showing your homepage. Your two tower collections aren’t what’s ranking.

Kitchen Helper Toddler Towers and Learning Towers for Small Kitchens show the same four products, so they’re competing with each other.

You already hold position 3 for “toddler tower” and “kitchen helper”, so this is a range Google trusts you on.

The fix

Pick one tower page, redirect the other to it, and link to it from your homepage. Then update its listing:

Title: Learning Towers NZ | Kitchen Helper Toddler Towers | Toddle

Description: Shop wooden learning towers and kitchen helpers for toddlers, with free shipping NZ-wide from Toddle.
